If book one was about world building then this book was about character development because where was the plot - what even happened here. It’s probably just me but the family lineage kept confusing me but maybe I’m not paying enough attention. Anyways, I’m curious to how to ends so I’ll def read book 3 but as for Fallon, if and when she becomes queen, I hope it’ll be because she did something to deserve it.

I wish we had multiple POVs because just getting things through Fallon is annoying lol. I need variety

Naivete only lasts so long

While Fallon still tried to keep her cluelessness, her eyes were finally opened but it was a bit too late.
I was a bit annoyed with how naive she was in book one and the beginning of this book. At least she lost her illusions of Dante. She is growing into the queen she will need to be by the end and I cannot wait to see his It all plays out.
