Another fantastic book by the author. I honestly believe that she couldn’t write a bad book if she tried. Enthralling, gripping, through provoking and the right amount of creepiness and mystery with a little bit of love interest thrown in. The characters were very well developed. Loved it.

His was a good story and kept me interested, but it was missing something. Also, I think I was expecting more.

The pacing was a bit uneven and it felt too long but also too rushed towards the end? I like Simone St James and will read anything she writes but for some reason this one wasn’t as enjoyable for me as some of her others. It was a perfect read for fall though.
