This book was a lot better than the last book in the series. The science fiction carries this book a lot better, but Seldon is not very likeable. My eye rolling continued in this book as Asimov seems to bring everything back to sex in one way or another in conversations that are very reminiscent of my middle school lunch room.

I don't really get this book.  I am a fan of the Foundation series, but really only the first three books.  I love the premise, but it's kind of jumped the shark.  I was hoping that there would be more intrigue and explanation of Psychohistory.  We got to learn a lot about Heri Seldon, but I guess I wasn't really interested in him, especially when he became irrelevant in the two sequel books.  Also, this book is reasonably long, and it has a sequel.  It seems like most of the story could be concluded in one book, but here we are.

The first of this series, it does do a lot of interesting explaining (afterall, it is Asimov). Don't know if it is because I've read other Foundation books, but I guessed who Hummin was pretty early on and figured out what the answer was... Enjoyable book

I loved it!!! The utopian novel with its style, moral issues and the whole story...I guess everyone can enjoy it!

Very enjoyable. I enjoy how the writer connects this book into the Asimov timeline.
