This book made me become a misandrist. I hate Randy Waterhouse so much. It’s also absolutely chock full of this white savior colonialist mindset.

Nearly 100 pages in and I couldn’t tell you the names of the main characters. The writing was not engaging and the author seems to enjoy making frequent and unnecessary references to male genitalia (including a particularly unnecessary reference during a recounting of the Pearl Harbor attack).
