I just finished this one today.
I do love Kele Moon. She has an awesome way to mix funny, touching, sexy, hot and just all-together making a great story.
I was looking forward to more of this series. (Well spin off series of Battered hearts because we still get the peeps of Garnet County in the book)
I cannot wait to get more. I just love them all and wish I could go and hang out with them all. Jules is one of my favorites and Wyatt? Hello, well what can I say. ALL of the guys are YUMMY! Tino I think is one of my favorites. He is hilarious, and scary at the same time.

I do enjoy reading Kele's books and look forward to more to come.

The ONLY issue I had was the fact that he kept calling himself a thug. I have known thugs and let me say one thing, they don't constantly refer to themselves as ballers, thugs or gangsters. That was the only issue I had.

So I think I was a bit too excited about this one because it wasn't as good as I had hoped. I liked it but I don't feel a need to read it again. I liked Katie and Marcos but they're not a couple that I absolutely loved. I liked seeing Chuito and the others from the battered hearts series. I'm hoping the next book is better but I'm keeping my expectations lower this time.

A gang member who is trying to break free, Marcos Rivera just can't seem to catch a break. After another fruitless attempt to walk a clean path, he ends up crashing into Katie Foster. The accident wasn't his fault but he knows he will be to blame like everything else.

Katie sees something else in Marcos, she believes that they are meant to be something to one another. Whether it be friends, lovers, or just acquaintances Katie is determined to find out. Marcos doesn't want to taint Katie, but he can't stay away. Can two opposites be the perfect combination?

I can't wait to read the next one. Poor Chuito. I get why he did what he did, but still.
Katie and Marcos were great, but I'm thinking this is like the Battered Hearts books, where the first one was good, but the next two are crazy and emotional and GAH!
