I started this book hoping I would be reading more about Kendrick Lamar, but what I got was less about the man and more about the author.

Also the ARC I received was choppy and what looked like the beginning of the book was actually an entirely different chapter. I understand that this was an advanced copy, but it did play a part in me not finishing this book.

One day I will pick this book up again and try and finish it. In the meantime, on to another book.
