Short and steamy story about Sarah and Alvin. Sarah felt an instant connection with Alvin. She knows what she feels and admits to herself. Alvin on the other hand fights the attraction, pushing Sarah away.
He is a talented surgeon, whose always put work first. An accident makes Sarah need him all the more but at what cost to Alvin?
The story is not a cliffhanger but it doesn't wrap up the questions either. I am interested to see if this will be answered in the next book. Although I liked the story, at first I couldn't understand why Alvin was holding back. I would have liked a little more back story on the two characters. That is what makes me invested in the story. The story started slow but definitely was getting interesting at the end.
