I demolished this book in like 30 hours. It was so engaging. I loved Ruth and Evan. I found their dynamics to be incredibly cute, and I just remember really loving the feeling these characters gave me. And then I read the whole series of books and was hooked!

I usually refrained from reading books with this type of cover, but truly, don’t judge a book by its cover lol it’s Talia mf Hibbert, so you know you’re in for a good journey.

This book is so freaking cute and hot at the same time! It’s thee Talia magic. I never been so giddy reading a book.

Canon MCU comics? Checked.
Hot guy cooking? Checked.
Grumpy & blunt heroine? Checked.
Perfect banter? Checked.

Oh and shower scene.

Shocked and upset that Evan isn't real and isn't my boyfriend.

This was so unbearably sweet i was swooning the entire time. I had no interest in continuing the series but might have to read the sisters book just to get glimpses of Ruth and Evan

This was so sweet and I miss the characters already! Only wish there was 100% less military in it (especially as it didn’t impact the plot at all and I would forget about it until it was brought up again)

Well written and good characters

I enjoyed reading this book, but somehow it felt like it was missing something. I love other works by this author and this title is well written. However, I think maybe the conflicts just weren’t enough to have me as invested as I like to get when I’m reading a good book.
