I very much enjoyed this book. Listening to the audiobook for #2 gave me a better idea of how to pronounce everything, which made the reading smoother. The story moves along nicely, and I imagine the complete outline on the author’s wall in colored notecards.

Every book is better than the last! I particularly enjoyed the paranormal aspects in this visit to Three Pines. This series is best read in order, and I must say the audio version is even better than the print. I am loving my summer audio binge read of this series!

Such a fantastic chief Armand gamache tale. Truly is nothing like that man. Real icon. The drama of this one GOT ME. The suspense was IMMACULATE.

Totally unbelievable that people get murdered in Canada. But otherwise a great book!

This is the 2nd book I have read by Louise Penny, and I really enjoyed this one too. Great mystery with plot twists that I was NOT able to figure out before the end. Usually I do figure out most of them, so I really love a book where I don't!

Incredible!

I am so enjoying going back through the Armand Gamache series on audiobook. Appreciate her layered characters, thoughtful writing and real life drama. Again this one primarily takes place in Three Pines. Listening to these stories really makes me wish there was a real Three Pines I could visit.
