Cute and funny read, all in all.

First things first: I'd die for Vincent, he is Baby he is Adorable he is The Cutest. Wesley is.. an interesting character. Very flawed, and it was interesting to see him battling between his desire for revenge and his growing affection for Vince/understanding of how based on prejudices his views on Vampires were.

I think you should not go into this story thinking it a serious book. It felt very much like a YA with horny MCs and cartoonishly evil bad guys. No judgement here, i just didn't know what to expect. I almost never read reviews before reading a book haha it has very strong fanfic vibes

I was hoping we'd see more side characters, more details of the vampire world, more outside perspectives on vampirism and stuff. The part with the smith guy was interesting and I wish he had a bigger part. It felt very much like some side characters were there just as deus ex machina and not "real" characters.

I am debating whether i should give it 3 or e stars but i think I'll settle for 3. With all the teasing and hormones flying around i was hoping/expecting for some E-rated action. Oh well. Still, I'll probably listen to the sequel one day soon. The audiobook narrator (Simon Dornet) was p good.

There’s nothing wrong with this book, it just isn’t keeping my attention. Could be me or it could be the book. Either way, I’m done.
