I got the 2nd issue for free and went into this kind of not really impressed since I wasn't a fan of the 1st issue. I really enjoyed this! This issue picked up and got me hooked.

All right, so now it's beginning and it's good, like really good. I love the art style and the writing. The pacing feels good but the only thing that bugs me a little bit is the length. I wish the issues would be longer

Me starting this: So this is basically a home invasion horror story now ...
Me after finishing this: Ok well except for the talking decapitated heads.

Here we get a short and sweet continuation of the horror that June is living. She doesn’t know if her boyfriend is alive, but she has a will to survive and try to figure out what is going on. And in particular, how is this head still talking despite its removal from its body? My money is on the Viking axe. I love the art style used, it reminds me of old-school comics, and it’s probably my favourite part about Basketful of Heads.
