I teetered between 4 and 5 so I'll say 4.55 stars and round up. A little slow at first but once it gets moving, it is an extraordinary tale! Mr. Lawrence created a unique world and does an amazing job of telling two stories that overlap in a library but not like any library you could ever imagine. It holds potential salvation (Livira), a sanctuary or prison for the other (Evar) as a battle looms in the future. Confused? So was I at first but wow, does it get interesting. In my opinion, well worth the read (or listen). I'll probably read it again as I feel like I will gain more the second time around.

Didn‘t get into it, then read some reviews that there are time shenanigans, and no don’t want to read something like that right now
