Enjoyed this - I’m a big fan of Mary Roach and this definitely hits that same interest level. This is more short stories about different topics, lots of stories in the same topic. It was really interesting and a little gross but not too gory. A bit like a long form podcast, a bit on a lot of topics.

It was hard to get into this one. There’s no overarching point or consistent theme. This is just a collection of topics the author has previously written articles about. Her writing style is fine; I’d be open to reading something else she has if it is more narrative driven. This is a great starter book for anyone who might be unsure about being into non-fiction, especially the weirder stuff.
