I love Agatha Christie
Some stories were better than others
And also some were very very loosely autumn based lol

A gentle read, cosy and mysterious! Definitely prefer the full story's so you can get deep onto her writing, but this is enjoyable too!

This rating is a bit unfair… but it turns out it’s not very fun to rattle through a load of tiny Agatha Christie stories without enough time to add the layers, red herrings and three-dimensional characters that make a Christie novel so intriguing and enjoyable.

So this book itself is an odd, formulaic assortment of mysteries that are immediately revealed. Also, apart from one or two vaguely supernatural ones, I have no idea what brings them together into an ‘autumnal’ themed collection.

Anyway, some of the short stories inside are very promising (e.g. Murder for the Prosecution, The Triangle at Rhodes). I just wish they’d been expanded into proper novels.

P.S. ‘The Case of the Rich Woman’ was well worth a quick read though, and it was completely unlike the others. A bit of a Black Mirror vibe.

I just always enjoy a Christie mystery- these are short vignettes and there's a couple that I think could have been fleshed out into longer stories which I would have enjoyed spending more time with. But lots of fun and a nice easy read with natural breaks
