To master the skill of writing short stories is mastering life, imo. Agatha Christie is that girl. lol. I love short stories, specifically stories by Latin American authors because they have championed that arena, but I couldn't resist this beautiful cover so I had to pick it up. I haven't read murder mysteries in a while so it was fun to dive into this. Also the great thing with an anthology of short stories is that it is non-committal, and you can read a short story every night before bed and feel like you accomplished something.
Enjoyable short stories with a "supernatural" twist. various narrators including David Suchet voicing Hercule Poirot Stories.
Beautiful book and nice collection of stories. This feels like a ridiculous nitpick bit the ink on the jacket is super easily damaged, it had a small smudge i went to wipe off with a very lightly damp cloth

12 short stories by the Queen of crime. It's not Autumn any longer but this is still a good read for Winter, and it's certainly chilly right now. The blurb says it has a supernatural twist but of course the murders are all committed by someone still living.
Maybe because they are short stories and so not able to fully flesh things out but many of the stories needed more than a little suspense of belief in them. Not as enjoyable as her regular novels.
