I loved the first book in the series and idk if I was just in the Christmas spirit or what but this was such a let down.
The subtle hint of their romance in the first book made me so excited but this was so immaturely written.... Genuinely felt like a random scenario I made up in my head before bed and not like a real book.
I think the first one shined in the fact that it was only about 12 chs I think? While this was 30! And it shows that CeCe might do better with shorter books/chapters. Rob being head over heels for her from his first ch made me not want to read his pov as much, it was just cheesy and desperate honestly.

This book was amazing! It was one of those books that I couldn’t put down and I read until 2:30 in the morning. 😴

Kelsey. 👓 📚 omg. I absolutely loved her! She was so sweet and such a hard worker. I loved her commitment to her family, job, and friends. Her love of books, grilled cheese, and chocolate milk…. Sounds relatable

Rob. 💻 🚙 okay. from the first book I LOVED him. 1- he’s an amazing friend for Caleb, 2- he’s such a good support for Kelsey, 3- HE’S SUCH A SIMP AND IT’S SO CUTE 🥰

He’s loved her for years and she’s been depending on his stable friendship for just as long ❤️. Rob feels stuck in the friend zone and it’s too worried to push anything because he doesn’t want to ruin the good friendship they have now💔. But when Kelsey’s stupid on and off again boyfriend gets with another girl, Kelsey is ready to move on from the guy who played her for 8 years to bigger and better places 💪🏼

This was such a good friends to lovers and I loved every moment. The scenes were so tender and I found myself squealing at so many heated moments because AHHHHHHH they were so cute 🔥😍🥵. So go read this book!!!!

Perfect After All is an adorable, light romance and is the second in the Happily Ever After All series. I did not read the first book prior to reading this one and I think it definitely works as a standalone. Although, I bet there will still be a third in this series based on the last single Ellis sibling :)
Kelsey and Rob are likable characters that have you continuing to root for them to get together. The scenarios with them together were fun and made you want to chant "just kiss already!" Zero steam with this one, just a cute love story. Fun, cringy online dating stories are included as well. I assume the third book will cover Caleb and Victoria which I plan to read and hopefully get more glimpses into Rob and Kelsey together!
