Great ghost story! This one had many of the unnerving spooky factors that most Goosebumps late in the series seems to be missing. This one was truly unnerving in a lot of aspects.
Where this fell short was, once more, the ending. Stine seemed to be in a "stop the story before an actual resolution" kick when he got to this section of the Goosebumps series.
His endings worked well when they were alluding to further impending doom - this felt like it left off right before the next chapter.

Another really fun Goosebumps book! So far this is 3/3 on enjoying the stories set at summer camps. Great story full of curious and questioning protagonist and some pretty good scares and twists. Overall, a lot of fun.
As I work on collecting physical copies of all 62 Goosebumps, I will also be reading them. It's very comforting and nostalgic for me. I really believe Stine bringing the horror genre into the lives of 90s babies was very culturally significant, and I will be rating each one five stars regardless.
The camp themed ones are my favorite. For me, summer is a better time for horror than October is.

Wish i read this when i was a child! This is deffo giving some scooby doo zombie island soundtrack vibes but less scary.
I remembered this one well! Remembered the twist word for word. The ghost stories scared me so much as a kid!
