Ghost Camp

R.L. Stine

3.49 AVERAGE

Not as good as The curse of camp cold lake, it has too many exclamation marks and false leads. The second half is a lot better than the first and kids should get a kick out of the mystery/revelation. The ending is a little cute/humorous with how it played out. Takes awhile to get into as the writing feels less sincere, but it warms up as it goes.

This is the second scariest Goodbumps in the classic series (A Night in Terror Tower #27 being the first scariest). Many children dream of summer camp. Not many of them dream of leaving it. How long will summer last for Henry and Alex? Read and find out.

I think it's my favorite so far. It was creepy and spooky at times.

I think overall this is a good book I just feel like it’s not my go to genre although I did like the ending and I did like the overall mark of the book but I just feel it could’ve been a longer book and a bit more detail about a sum of the parts of the book

It is a Goosebumps book. You know what you are getting yourself into. It is a light-hearted spooky romp great for fall.

a re-reading of my childhood’s book for #rereadathon hosted by Clara @thebookwormofnotredame... I remember my 10 years old’s ass was scared when I read this book... this book was also mesmerized me back then...

Picked this up to get into the Halloween spirit. I remember feeling so scared when I was in Elementary school reading this. It was good! Fun to read. Reminded me of how I used to think thoughts in my head.

Currently rereading my original Goosebumps collection

This is the third camp based book in the Goosebumps series, and it's quite clear that R. L. Stine has something against camps. I love ghost stories and although this one is fairly predictable it was fun to read and I did like the ending.
