this book didn't emotionally wreck me like the first one, but it was so nice to go back to these characters. just like i read the first book exactly when i needed to, closeted and sad, i read this book just when i needed it. I'm heading into the next stage of my life, and as pretentious as ari's musings are, they help. i love these characters and sanez's writing so much. i've heard a lot of bad reviews of this book, but i genuinely did love it a lot.
