I can't bring myself to make this rating higher. I did enjoy it and it caught my attention. But I found it missing something. It was odd to me that the 2 guys that stood by their club and disappointed the only person that they loved ended up just giving it like nothing.

Second chance MC romance where they’ve both been in love with each other forever? I’ll take it

This was my first book from Ashley Munoz and it did not disappoint! It’s a motorcycle club, small town, second chance romance with suspense and forced proximity. What more could you ask for?! The storyline and chemistry between Callie and Wes was everything you could hope for and more! I loved the dual timeline and getting these glimpses into their past to see how their love began and what eventually lead to their undoing. You see Wes as this tough MC guy but in the past he was a big softie towards Callie that is so swoon worthy. Seriously ladies find a man who talks about you like this.

“You clawed me open, Callie Stone, and position inside as queen of my heart. We can’t be a part. Even in death I’m pretty sure I’d follow you.”

The ending was everything I hope it would be and tied up nicely. I loved the other characters and can’t wait to see where the rest of this series has in store! This book was absolutely a 5⭐️ read for me!

A solid 3.5

It was a fun read that flew by. I got a good sense for both of the main characters, and they felt fully fleshed out. There were some frustrating parts and some questions left unanswered, but I enjoyed it.
