A story of many layers, motives and mystery. The characters are written to be people you have met before (either in school, or some kind of twisted nightmare). Lisa Jewell does the switching of narratives and time frames so well, the pace just got quicker and more riveting as the book progresses.

Lisa Jewell is one of my absolute favorite authors, and I've been eagerly awaiting the release of her latest book. So a huge thank you to Atria Books and Lisa Jewell the ARC!
I'd been in my first reading rut of the year prior to getting my hands on The Night She Disappeared, and this book cured me. Lisa Jewell never disappoints. Fans of her other work and the genre in general will love this one.
Told from alternating perspectives on a skipping timeline, this book sucked me in immediately. I ended up reading it in less than a day. My only regret is now I'll have to wait even longer for Lisa Jewell's next book
