Ken Lui really knows how to craft a tear jerker.

I’m ready for my heart to be shattered in the finale. Typically I find myself wanting to read and explore other fantasy lands, but I’ve never been this raptured to keep going. And it’s not because of how cool or fantastical it is (even though it is all those things) it’s just wanting to come back to all these great characters and their beautiful ideals.

I’m not sure that the series need a several-hundred page cooking competition (jumping the shark a bit with the “silk-punk” sous-vide and pressure cooker…) but I’m not upset about it. Still a great world, meaningful conflict, and drama.

This series will go down in history as one of the greatest fantasy epics of all time. I adore this series so much and this book was another immaculate read.
