Was about a hundred pages in before quitting. The pacing is really wonky and the raybearer magic system is really hokey to me. Being bound by proximity to ten other people is . . . Weird and super strange, as a touch- and people-averse person. I really wanted to love it bc of its nigerian roots but it suffers from debut syndrome too much for me to enjoy.
