As a book this was really hard to get into due to the immaturity of the main characters. It felt like a 15 year old first getting online in terms of potty mouth and crappy dialogue.

However once I forced myself through that mire,I found the basic litrpg premise building fun, the world interesting and the actual soldier / fighting enjoyable.

The writing is terrible. The story doesn't move fast enough. The author spoon feeds you everything. Would be a great story if it wasn't explaining and then over explaining everything that was happening at every moment.

A progression fantasy with a tad too much emphasis on leveling up. In the stretch of me leafing through this book I stumbled upon on the predicament of a lavishness of explanation, one on that regard which tend to be iterated frequently . This frequent barrage of explanations soon becomes leaden which in turn makes the pacing rather ponderous.

For all that delineation's we are served with a few novel ideas that I haven't fallen upon my reaches. Rather than our prosaic trope of a protagonist going into the faerie world we are treated with a duo, Erik and Rugrat are the names. Aside from being introducing a duo they are also military personnel, comrade in carnage both in Earth and this land
The characters are joy to spent time with, the chaffing's also adds to the improvement of things. There's not a complex plot in play, but rather a simple one. the journey they take are filled with constant need of improvement and an exceeding amount of curiosity . New hurdles and uproarious amount of antics are shown by the native people of the land and in return our main characters trudge
through this land of factious idiots and wise sages with remarkable talent of being ignorant all the while. Unfortunately we're not blessed with an animal companion but the duo makes up for it.
My main gripe is that they spent a bit much time towards the village fortification parts, there's also the lack of interpersonal relationship dynamics.

Overall it satiates the hunger for progression fantasy but does not gratify the lust of a good story.

Awesome book

This book was awesome. I lived the characters, the action, the world building- all of it. Give it a try, you'll like it.

This has to be one of the BEST series I have ever read. Characters are great and personable. Story line is AMAZING and I literally couldn’t put them down.
