 A short novella about an usher who wants to be an actress. The lead star is killed on stage and the rest of the story is about finding out who it js. Quite enjoyable

After 27 pages and being left more confused than the first two pages, I wish I could have my thirty minutes it spent me to read this book back. Nita Prose, known for the Maid, which I enjoyed but I know many others didn’t care for, wrote this short story. After being told a whole of nothing information early on, you are more confused than when you were at the end before starting this book.

Like someone else said it best about this book “staler than a crouton”.
