Was this necessary? No.
Did this make my little thirteen year old self that still lives inside of me a little bit excited? Maybe.
Did I like it? Not at all.
I’m done with the divergent series for the rest of my life, but this review here sums up all my feelings for this thing if you’re interested: https://taleswithnicole.blogspot.cl/2017/04/spoiler-review-we-can-be-mended.html?m=1

This is so freaking morbid I almost lost my shit.
This feels like Allegiant over and over again but Tobias Eaton version. My heart hurts so bad right now and it feels like I’m being murdered. All pain the came rushing back together with a full force nostalgia.
Let it be fucking noted: Veronica Roth annihilated my heart, she ruined it and mended it again.
Me:
*tosses my kindle tab*
*walks out of the front door*
*goes to the nearest train station*
*Jumps*
My heart, my poor broken heart.

I gave this 3 stars because it is well written, as always when reading a book from Veronica Roth. But this 30-40 pages long story left me with a sour taste. I enjoyed reading it in the beginning because I missed this universe so much and it felt great to go back in...but seriously? Four and Christina? I don't like it that much. I like thst he moves on but I did not like her character this much when I read the trilogy so readibg about her with Four leaves me a little uncomfortable.

It was sweet and showed the tenderness and grief that Tobias has after Tris’ death, but I’m not so sure I like that he and Christina are together (it still is uplifting and emotional, though). It does make sense that this would happen, though, given it has been 5 years since her death.
