I know not everyone is a fan of Dr. Greger but I do enjoy reading his books and listening to his videos. That being said I do not read every word of his books including this one. Some topics just don't interest me or pertain to me and my lifestyle. I can't give up dairy and although I love veggies, I can't pass up a good chicken parm.

Dr. Greger includes a great deal of research. I try not to focus too much on the studies done with mice and move on to the results from actual humans. Thanks to Dr. Greger I have changed my eating habits. Many other researchers have mentioned the same talking points when talking about the lifestyle choices we make but reading Dr. Greger's books motivates me to stay on track.

Consider reading How Not to Die if you have a specific condition and then look over How Not to Age to gain a bit more information.

I think this is an improvement in writing from his previous works.

While I enjoyed this read for the sake of learning, I can barely get past the feeling of being trapped in an undergrad seminar as someone else described in their review of this title. If you want to learn more about your body, nutrition, and longevity...I recommend it. Just be aware that Greger's writing can feel dogmatic.

I think I'd pick up anything Greger churned out. This one, like the others, is a tome though. I listened to this and I'd recommend doing that; it was 28 hours.

Great book with thoughtful tips to live a better life.

This one is hard for me to judge; it’s packed with research and information, but it closely mirrors what’s in “How Not to Die,” which I love. So a little repetitive for me, but it could be new for some.

The further along the book went, the more it turn to an opinion based rant. This book has me doubting everything he has written.
