This is a good early chapter book for dog lovers. It is told from the dog's perspective, which adds some hilarity for human readers, as he talks about his owners frustrating his plans to sniff other dogs butts and doesn't realize the destruction he causes in his quest to defeat the evil squirrels. Recommend for 2nd-4th grade readers.

I am so excited for this series! I love the Fenway and Hattie books and knowing that we get to introduce Fenway to readers even younger, makes me so happy!
Fenway has just returned from the Treat Place (pet store) and has a delicious new bone to chew on. But will those evil backyard squirrels get their paws on it? Fenway has just the idea, bury it! But what happens when Fenway can't find his buried bone?
