Historia maneira, mas as vezes parece que o autor não consegue pensar uma motivação boa pros personagens fazerem o que eles fazem e o jeito de ele resolver é só ignorar que eles precisam de uma. Mas não acontece tanto a ponto de estragar o livro, mas também não acontece pouco a ponto de não pegar o padrão. A graça do primeiro era o universo, mas não tanto a história, já esse é o contrário. Os mundos são bem nada de mais comparado com o primeiro, mas acontece muito mais coisa interessante que não é, literalmente, world-building.

I just didn't love this book like I did the first one. I know the second book in a trilogy can often feel a bit stilted and this one really did for me. It just didn't seem to flow and felt clunky.
However, there were elements of the story I did enjoy and I look forward to seeing how it ends.
