just got busy and did not end up finishing it. Would likely read in the future but the timing in which I started it was not good for me.

This book was both entertaining and frustrating to read. While this installment was easier to understand than the last one, some of the magical element are too complicated and the book makes too unnecessary detours.

I enjoyed the mystery aspects, Alex’s growth, and the character interactions.

God this was so good. The journey to hell and back. “As above, so below” serving as much more than the names of part one and part two. Alex blazing through with hell to pay in more than one way. The unexpected grouping of four people who would never have known each other if not for Lethe. The gentleman demon (who’s… hotter now?????). The caricature of Walsh-Whiteley’s misogynistic existence. Getting to know Dawes as much more than just a mother hen. Mercy coming in clutch as a friend and a HUGE help (not without sacrifice of course). Turner for the badass he is!!!! Seeing the connection between Alex and Darlington change in a myriad of ways. I am here for it all. I am ready for book 3!!!!!! And I know I’m going to be waiting a long ass time for it l o l
