I love this book.
Authors need to stop insulting my intelligence though. Please don't explain why your book is thought provoking, it's like a comedian explaining his joke or a magician revealing his trick.

Dry humor. Insight to India family life and culture. References to God throughout. Adventure at sea happens around Chapter 40, when boat sinks.

Very enjoyable read. A bit more haunting than I expected but not necessarily in a bad way!

Life of Pi is more mentally challenging than what I usually read, but was definitely worth the effort. It's a remarkable survival story, offering insights into a man's mental processes and spirituality during trials. There's even an interesting twist at the end that will get you thinking long after you've finished the book.
