Did a reread to catch up with the updates and Lore Olympus is still one of my favorite mythological adaptations of any kind. Did it all on WEBTOON, but hell yes am I going to count it for my reading challenge. It is everything that is wonderful about the action of adaptation, retaining the lines and curves of the original story, but while fleshing it out in a way to update it’s relevance. Also there is a reason we keep retelling these stories, and any tale classed as “beauty and the beast” owes a lot to the tale of Hades and Persephone.
