This one is the one I was most excited to read  after all the hints and teases in the previous books about how Colin and Penelope's relationship had progressed.

I adore Penelope so much and loved getting her background story.

I really enjoyed this book more than I thought I would! I’ve not been Penelope’s biggest fan while watching the Netflix series, but I ended up adoring her in the books. The romance was so good because it wasn’t too magical. Colin just went ”Oh, I’m in love with her. How did it take me so many years to see how beautiful she is inside and out?” and I loved that because it shows us that love can come very unexpectedly sometimes. I also liked how this focused so much on lady Whistledown!
