Things I liked
°the premise is really intriguing and well executed. I loved how there was a mystery if something supernatural was going on or not
°it creeped me out (which is kinda the whole thing with horror, right?) because scary children are scary

Things I disliked
°the overly gross desscriptions. I get that this is very common in adult horror but for me personally it was just too gross and detailed. Personally I always start imagining how something must feel and I end up getting uncomfortable :/
°it didn't go as far as I wanted it to. Through this book I discovered that I prefer creepy possessed children over just creepy children

Concluding thoughts
Overall I think this is a good horror book and I liked it (as far as possible). There are some things I wasn't a fan of, mainly these gross descriptions of injuries and physical intimacy but I know that's what some people like about horror/thriller/etc.
So it's not the book but me not being an avid horror reader (it's not you it's me)

Someone (*cough cough* it was me) stayed up way too late last night to finish this book and now I am feeling the pain. My eyes feel like they are going to fall out. Ugh.

This creepy read is at its deep dark core about a mother/daughter relationship gone BAD. Suzette is a stay at home mom and her daughter is non-verbal 7-year old Hanna. The chapters alternate between the perspective of these 2 main characters. Neither character is very sympathetic. Suzette isn't sure how to be a good mom and worries that it is her fault that her daughter doesn't talk and misbehaves. Hanna on the other hand, schemes ways to get her parents (mostly her dad's) attention.

This thriller kept my attention throughout. It was a perfect read to wrap-up October with.

I deserve an award for finishing this book. I wanted to quit so many times but stuck through all 11ish hours of the audiobook and regret every single minute I listened to it.

This could have been such a good story but there is zero depth to any of the characters. The story is flat and just when you think it’s about to get good, it drops like a hot potato back to being dull.

I think this is a great guide on how to manage your child if they are evil (and what not to do).

Hanna is a perfect sweet 7 year old child for her dad but does not want to share him with her mom. In her world everything would be better once mom disappears so starts her diabolical acts to make that come true.Suzette loves her husband and tries to love her child but however hard she tries it is difficult for her to connect to Hanna and is sure that there is something seriously wrong with her kid.

Baby Teeth is well written book told from Hanna and Suzette’s POVs.it is dark and creepy but did not work for me as I found it impossible to believe that a 7 year old would be able to commit such horrific acts. I would put this more in a horror genre than a psychological thriller and I’m sure that people who love that category would enjoy it

I would like to thank St. Martin's Press & NetGalley for providing an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest and fair review.
