This was so cool. Really fun. Going to go back and rewatch the actual III tonight to see which I like better. Really cool thing for Audible to do.

Whilst I’m quite the fan of Fincher Alien 3 I feel this version is a much truer sequel to what came before it and whilst its idea to sideline Ripley may have been received poorly it also does feel like a nicer continuation of the story. If those films came out today you could see this being a 4 part tv series that leads into Alien 3 somehow but unfortunately this was from a time where the idea that the studio liked more is the one that got made.
