Probably the funniest of the five, for spoilery reasons, which I love. But some plot decisions that felt a little wtf. Also an ending that ... is not... as morally satisfying for grown ups as it may be for kids? And because I failed to mention it before, I do appreciate that this is more diverse than a lot of stuff in the genre - our 2nd-mainest character is named Tamara Rajavi, Celia has two moms, Charlie and Kai are boyfriends - you could do worse.

What a good end to this series!

I quite like it how we watch Call and his friends grows as the story progresses.

In this book Alex is back and very much alive and ready to bring chaos (hehe see i what did here). Call starts having memories from Constatine's soul (this was my fav aspect of this book cause it's so interesting)

And the ending was so wholesome 🥲 i quite like Call, Tamara and especially Aaron ohh he's my boy.

Pretty disappointing - the only thing that got me to finish was knowing I was already 5 books in. I was hoping for more character development and different plot points but alas. I understand this is intended for a younger audience but I wish they actually made the characters mature so that audience could grow with them.

Epic conclusion to Magisterium series, which is short but straight to the point and full of action and plot twists. Good job, Holly and Cassie ❤️
