The first third of the book is pure action with too much description of the fights and not enough about the characters. When the action slowed down, the book was much better. However, this book doesn’t stand on its own, and I don’t feel the need to read more.

Won this book in a giveaway and had a good time! It's fast-paced and silly, and the audiobook narrator did an excellent job. I wasn't a huge fan of how the FMC was portrayed and the romance subplot made me roll my eyes, but if you're here for sci-fi action you'll enjoy it.
