the happy prince is a bittersweet short story that moves the heart and touches the soul. it really makes you think about what's really important and about how superficial we as a society can be.
This is one of my absolute all favourite short stories... Oscar Wilde writes in such a poetic and evocative style and the theme of this story is so beautiful and touching. I could read it over and over again and still be incredibly moved.
