What a group of thoroughly unpleasant characters. Doubtless a lot of skill went into creating such odious people but I did not enjoy spending time with them.

This book isn't what I was expecting at all. The characters are annoying, and actually quite awful people. It is readable and I enjoyed the easy going writing style, but it's a book that I will have forgotten about very soon as I don't feel like much happened.

The good news is that I flew through it in a couple of days (subsequently completing my 2022 reading challenge!
