Blair, I love that girl, no Woman! She knew what she wanted and she went for it.
Camden, what a swoon fest!

Camden was was such a goner for Blair, and very early in the book!! Even if he couldn’t verbally acknowledge it.

Their tension hits straight away. The will-they-won’t-they was so tense but the payoff was worth it.

Their first kiss, epic!
The spice? Hot hot hot!!

Their secret relationship was questionable. It was so secretly obvious!! Honestly, how did they even keep it a secret from Knox!?

Thank you Monica Murphy and Valentine PR for an eARC for an honest review.

Do not miss Monica Murphy’s latest addition to her Players series!

My Review ⤵️

I simply love he way Monica Murphy is writing this series, Playing by the Rules is on the exact same time line as Playing Hard to Get, but it’s Cam and Blair’s turn. So where it is a stand alone it’s really fun to see what else was going on in this world while Knox and Joanna were working through their story. I am amazed how Monica has woven these stories together and her attention to detail is insane!

Cam has always noticed his best friend’s sister Blair, he just always thought of her as a hands off situation, too bad Blair doesn’t agree. Go get this one, and read this story of the boy who turned into a man because he falls in love with strong young woman.

Monica Murphy is one of my 1click authors, I never read blurbs and always go in blind and I haven’t been disappointed yet! Don’t sleep on this series, it’s got all the good stuff, there’s a little drama, a lot of heart, and the perfect amount of heat.

Cam is the star quarterback looking at a chance to be drafted into the NFL. Blair has had the biggest crush on him since he spent a weekend at their house a few years ago. Blair’s older brother, Knox, is Cam’s best friend so obviously Blair is off limits. Or is she?

I started this book yesterday morning and stayed up entirely too late to finish it! I loved the push and pull of this book. Will Cam give in or walk away? My favorite part though was having a FMC that knew what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to put herself out there and go after it. Blair also wasn’t afraid to stand up for herself, that’s also so refreshing to read! I felt like it had the right ratio of spice to storyline. I read this without realizing there was a book one, Knox’s story, though this book is a standalone, I can’t wait to read the first one and then the third one once it comes out!

Tropes: brothers best friend, sports romance, alpha hero, best friends sibling, secret romance,

This ARC was given to me by Valentine PR in exchange for an honest review.

Camden Fields.... thats the post.

But seriously he's hot. Blair and Cam are so precious. Much better paring than Jo and Knox. I'm stupid excited for Ruby and Ace because that has to explode like a fire work.

Blairs outward confidence and in ward panic was perfect. I also loved that she understood football and wasn't impressed with the players. Growing up with four brothers, you learn football players are not that glamorous. Blair is intelligent, confident, and knows her worth. It was fantastic to see her demand more because she knew she deserved vetter. And she wasn't vindictive or hateful. She was just like, I know my worth and this isn't it.

Solid 4/5 much better than book 1.

Cam and Blair's story.  Cam is Knox (from book #1) BFF and teammate.  Blair is Knox's sister.
