I did not like this one as much as the original trilogy; however, I enjoyed it a lot more than the last book with Snow's backstory. Did it really change the Hunger Games for me? No, but it did add some background and context that I didn't hate.

Lenore Dove, CTM I LOVE REVOLUTIONARY GIRLS.
Maysilee, My baby, hubieras amado a Johanna, tu fuego no pudo ser apagado. Te amé tanto que mi corazón no podia soportar tu final.
Haymitch, me duele.

BTW the musica, ampert, mags, wiress.

This was definitely a book for the fans. There were a tonne of Easter eggs, I doubt I caught most of them considering how long ago I read Hunger Games, but they were a delight everytime I spotted one. I loved revisiting this series and I think I'm going to re-read the trilogy now, I'm curious to how differently I'll read it with this additional context.

Did it add much to canon? Not really. It adds context, it adds a little more background information but it doesn't change the overall story in a meaningful way. But for the fans, that extra context and depth to the story is fantastic.

This was SO GOOOOOOOD. I love Haymitch and I hate what he had to go through.
