It was really interesting reading about Haymitch and how there are characters we already know but didn’t know the relationship they had with him. I loved Maysilee, and finding out how the rebellion tried to happen so much earlier but why it didn’t.

i honestly don’t have anything comprehensive to say about this as i completed it like a minute ago after reading it in a few hours. and WOW. W O W. i knew ms collins wouldn’t disappoint, but i am just blown away. all the callbacks and easter eggs gave me chills, and the epilogue? no words. just incredible.

Currently in shambles. I appreciated getting a story from Haymitch’s point of view to see the layers of his character and explain the experiences behind the behavior in the original trilogy. I also loved the connections and answered questions from the first books.
