This is a sub genre/ trope I don’t read often but the book was quite engaging with the straying line and suspense following throughout the story.

Did I feel Alice was a pushover? Yes especially with her roommate and her mother. But I liked how Marco helped her. Everytime they read or talked about books made me giddy. Through and through it was a fun read and I am glad to have got the opportunity to have the ARC ✨

Tropes:
-Age Gap
-Plus Size Representation
-He is the Security Head & She is the Wedding Planner

“If I were a good man, a better man, I would let you go. But I won’t. I can’t. Do you know how long I looked for you, sweet girl? How I waited for you?” His fingers bit into my back. “I think I missed you before I even knew you.”

It is not often that you get to read a book and relate to the the FMC, and this one definitely hit right in my feels. I really enjoyed this story line and seeing the character growth of Alice as well as Marco’s character growth.

If you love a man with a sexy mouth, this book is for you

This is one of my favorite reads this year! OMG!! I connected on such a deep level with Alice. I teared up multiple times with her inner thoughts, as I have had those same thoughts myself multiple times. Their love is something to aspire to, oh my goodness. I swoon every time I think of all the things Marco did to make Alice feel seen, heard & loved. There is wooing, there is suspense/mystery, there is spice... Ari you made it all meld so well together.

[a:Ari Wright|29771141|Ari Wright|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1684206490p2/29771141.jpg]'s latest installment in the Instant Always Series, "For You," is a captivating blend of suspense and romance that will keep you glued to the pages. The story revolves around Marco, a dedicated security professional and unwavering believer in soulmates, and Alice, a timid wedding planner struggling with self-esteem issues. When a security breach threatens the upcoming wedding of Ella and Grayson, Marco finds himself drawn to Alice while investigating her as a potential suspect.

As the narrative unfolds, the boundaries between suspicion and attraction blur, leaving readers questioning Marco's true motives. The suspense mounts with jaw-dropping revelations, making it impossible to put the book down. Wright's masterful storytelling seamlessly interweaves the lives of multiple characters from previous books, creating a rich tapestry of interconnected relationships.

Alice's journey of self-discovery is particularly poignant. Despite her insecurities, her gentle spirit and resilience shine through, making her a character you can't help but root for. Marco's unwavering support and genuine care for Alice add depth and complexity to their relationship, creating a dynamic that is both heartwarming and captivating.

"For You" is a must-read for fans of suspenseful romances that delve into the depths of human emotion. Wright's ability to weave suspense, romance, and character development into a seamless narrative is truly remarkable.

For You is the 3rd book in the Instant Always series and although there are recurring themes and characters in it, it can totally be read as a standalone, as I have done.

OH HOW I LOVED THIS BOOK!. It was my first Ari Wright book and I’m definitely now a fan (and am going back to read the other 2)!

This book, a romantic journey between Marco (a security expert & bodyguard) and Alice (a wedding planner), was a beautiful love story, well written with totally relatable characters that made you want to laugh & cry with, get angry over, cheer for and admire their connection, when neither of them thought it was possible. The suspense aspect of this book was wonderfully paced and kept my attention! I thought I had it figured out & I was wrong which thrilled me! There were some parts that were totally unexpected (especially the last few chapters) and I loved it!

My ❤️ ached for Alice, who as a plus-sized MFC all her life had people tell her she wasn't pretty enough, or good enough or just..enough. She is a beautiful soul, kind, selfless, caring and so loving.

Marco is swoon-worthy on so many levels, as every book boyfriend should be and when he finally realizes that the woman he has seen many times before is really the love of his life, he will do whatever it takes to show her that he sees both her inner and outer beauty and how much he cherishes it.

There’s romance, suspense, sadness, longing, anger and selflessness, self doubt and realization and most of all LOVE. This book will run you through the gambit of emotions and you will thank Ari for the rollercoaster ride at the end.

Thanks to Ari & happilybookedpr for my wonderful eArc read of this book.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 stars

Synopsis:
He's conquered every mission he’s ever had… Why should one woman be any different? As a former soldier, detective, bodyguard, and, now, the man in charge, Marco Amir has always been strategic and exact. So when one mousy little woman threatens to unravel all of his hard work, he doesn’t hesitate to tamp down his conscience and come up with a plan to pursue her... in every way. After all, she’s just a girl. Just a job. He definitely cannot have feelings for her... can he? Alice Moore is usually invisible. But now that she's planning the Wedding of the Century, her celebrity bride's security director won't stop... looking at her. Listening to her… And asking her out? It makes no sense. Why would someone like Marco Amir ever look at her? Impossible. Especially given all the ways Alice has had her heart broken before. But the more the strong, brooding bodyguard looks at her, the more she realizes, she might not be so invisible after all.

Review:
OMG, what a book! Absolutely loved this one. This is my first read by Ari Wright, and I love this author already; I want to go and read everything she has created. The Alice and Marco dynamic is sweet and amazing. I love them both as separate characters and together as a couple. I adore how Marco builds up her confidence, helping her stand up for herself. There were several jaw-dropping moments that I didn't expect. Ari Wright closed off everything nicely, leaving no gaps open. She has quickly become a favorite author, and I highly recommend adding this to your next read or at least your ever-growing TBR pile.

This book was fantastic. Though it started a little slow and I really didn’t like Alice that much (at the beginning) but I grew to love and understand her. I’m not too proud to say that I cried in several places. The book picked up pace quickly and I was at the edge of my proverbial seat.

I was given this book in excuse for an honest review. Thank you to the author and Happily Booked PR for the opportunity to review this.

I really enjoyed this spicy romanceeee. This story follows Alice and Marco as a fake dating/ slow burn relationship. Alice is a plus size, shy wedding planner. Marco is ex-military/ bodyguard. I enjoyed reading about our two main characters’ relationship and watching it develop. Definitely will pick up another Ari Wright book in the future.

*tropes to expect:
bodyguard/ex-military MMC
Plus-size wallflower FMC
who hurt you
dual POV
fake dating
romantic suspense/he's keeping secrets
slow burn catches fire

I don’t know that I have ever read a book where I felt such a kinship to the main character. I saw so much of myself in Alice and seeing her grow and flourish as the story went on gave me hope for myself. I absolutely loved to see her build confidence and find her voice.

I literally had trouble putting this book down. It really keeps you hooked and has a few surprises!

Marco seems too good to be true, but it gave me all of the feels to see he and Alice get their happily ever after.
