Picked this up a few years ago, along with volume two. I didn't read the webcomics during the show's original run, but with the new miniseries coming up decided to read them. I thought the stories were really fun and reminded me why I love the show when it was on.
When an arc that didn't align with my morals spanned 3 consecutive comics, I decided it was time to DNF. Not for me.

I think bits of this collection of comics will make more sense if you have seen the tv series (I haven't), but despite that I was drawn into some of the little tales more than I was expecting to. People forced to be superheroes with special powers. It is an interesting concept. I wonder if there are massive spoilers in it if I ever were to watch the tv series...
I had no idea this additional Heroes content was available, so when I saw this book on the shelves at a thrift store, I had to pick it up to commemorate one of my favorite TV shows. Heroes used to be the show I’d sit down to watch every week and shush my family when they were being too loud. I loved the premise and the interesting characters. This bonus content, going into existing characters so beloved in the show and then delving into new characters, was a great experience. I’m happy to have some Heroes fandom on my shelf and this artwork is stunning. There’s some really quality storytelling happening in this graphic novel. If you were a fan of the show while it was on air, this is a fun flashback.
I really enjoyed the parts of this that included familiar characters from the TV show and some of the new additions were interesting, but I didn't really feel any sort of emotional attachment to them. Not enough Peter Petrelli or Sylar for me.
A nice complement to the TV series, but the rapid changes in artists gave it a choppy feel and it was hard to stick with the stories. I love the idea of a dual comic/TV series, but this didn't quite work for me.
