One of those Sherlock Holmes stories that really reminds us how much Holmes and Watson care about each other. It is, for sure, my favorite part of the Sherlock Holmes stories and so despite the flimsiness of the reason Holmes survived the Reichenbach falls, this has become my favorite of the ones I have read so far.

I understand why Conan Doyle felt he had to but the resurrection of Holmes' was a bit much to handle and poor Watson not being able to do a case on his own was sad too.

One of my favorites so far! I liked how two mysteries wrapped up into one; that ending was definitely unexpected! And thank God, we got our beloved Sherlock Holmes back!

Watson fainting upon seeing Holmes again will always be one of my favourite moments in literary history.
