Finally finished it. It was a chore to get through until the end. I think the end made this my favorite book of the trio.
If I could have given this half a star I would have. I hate this series. The fact that it's based on Twilight fanfiction just makes it worse. The relationship between Ana and Christian is abusive but layered with romantic hints to hide that. It paints a false picture of a BDSM relationship (or so I've been told by those who actually engage in those relationships) and I really don't know why it got published.
Poorly written. Overuse of annoying phrases and the word "apex" I was pretty much rolling my eyes 75% of the time.
Loved the entire trilogy- however, the ending of this book was just boring and silly. Like the hunger games, its all action and adventure then- oh i guess we will throw a two page happy ending in there.
Last book of the trilogy concluding the saga of Grey and Ana. I was happy and sad at the same time. Happy that they found their HEA with each other and sad to say goodbye to them.

"Christian, you are the state lottery, the cure for cancer, and the three wishes from Aladdin's lamp all rolled into one."
Last book of the trilogy. I was ecstatic to read how Christian and Ana's story would end after the second volume. I wanted to get to know more about CG and his past, and I did. I didn't know what else to expect, anyway, maybe the couple getting their happy ending, but the story of this book annoyed me a little at first. The first chapter were the same old things - sex, sex, sex, sweetness, sex. They indeed spend some cute and rough moments during their honeymoon, but I had enough of the intercourses. It was all the same, in different places and with different behaviors, but all the same. I was exhausted. Anyway, sex and BDSM apart, I have enjoyed the sex-less moments Christian and Ana have in this book, above all in the last part. After they get back home from their honeymoon and in contact with real life again, the story returns to be interesting again. I think the heated conversations between them and Christian's stubborn gestures or Ana's, for that matter, were my faves. Same with discussions or angsty moments or highly sugary scenes between them. Loved, loved, loved, how Christian was layered, how his story was built. His psychological complexity amused me, and I liked the execution of his storylines until the end, and the epilogue - omg. LOVED IT. It went exactly how I wanted it to, a perfect ending for Christian and Ana's tortuous journey. I couldn't ask for a better finale. I also adored the one shots at the end, from Christian's POV. Wished there were more about him and Ana and the family in general.
