I give 4 stars because I like the story. So romantic and so sweet. I mean, I know it's kind of impossible that Christian Grey is a real person. But, God he's so perfect in his imperfect. I almost forgot how amusing to read Fifty Shades series. Despite the kinkiness, I quite like the story. I like when Christian treats Ana so sweetly.

But kind of boring when they have a fight and then they have a sex. Over and over again. But, over all this book is sexy as hell. Christian as a husband and a father. Oh please Lord.

The part when Christian found out Ana is pregnant is truly tear me apart. Also, there are some parts that really touched me.

While reading the last book, all I think of was how to sell them secondhand (in need of money and also I believed I deserve compensation for enduring the whole series). Then I came across an online post about a charity shop with too many unwanted copies of Fifty Shades they built a fort out of them—that's when I realised it's impossible to sell since others was just as desperate as I did in getting rid of them.

Do you see your copy there?

My biggest beef with this series is how it painted a wrong picture of BDSM at my very first encounter of this realm which took some years and many other fanfics to correct (yes, I'm aware Fifty Shades was originally a fanfic too; and no, I don't get why it got to be published instead of other more heartstring-pulling works). It tied BDSM with stalking, dubcon, and violation of personal boundary when in reality it is not.

Years after my copy of trilogy had been listed online, somebody bought it with $1. Now with this review posted, the pain-in-the-ass of almost a decade finally welcomes its closure.

Couldn't get through the first few pages...

The best book I've ever read. So far.

Started to lose its luster after a while. After book one the sex parts were almost irrelevant as I was only concerned with what was going to happen to the characters. The sex parts became redundant and almost boring.
