Not changing my rating because in the end it left me kind of meh. The characters were making a good progress over the second book, but in this one I felt like they were going backwards. While Ana got bolder and more assertive of her own thoughts, Christian turned more strict and restrictive. While the evolution of his character over the three books is amazing and the best of this trilogy, I really couldn't empathise with him this time around.

Mycket bra bok med både spänning och romantik! Älskade slutet på denna triologi!
This "romance" series is about an abusive relationship. This entire series follows Ana as she becomes completely controlled in every aspect of her life by Christian. She is terrified of him, of making him angry, and he is emotionally manipulative to keep her around and under his control. This is a tragedy, not a romance. It tells readers that BDSM is a sinful thing that people need to be "cured" of, or should be ashamed of. And it is full of utterly terrible writing. I honestly do not understand how this book has become so popular, and it makes me so sad that some people really believe relationships should be like this.
Well after finishing this book I have to say I am totally gutted it has come to an end!
This by far is one of the best series I have read for sometime, although the books finished where I wanted it to and it is so nice to have a happily every after which parts of the book being quiet dark, I long to know more about them and how they continue to live their lives.
I cannot recommend this series highly enough, it has touched me, made me laugh, made me cry throughout and will leave a lasting impression on me forever!
Once again as I have said in previous reviews don't be put off by the sex scenes, what starts of as an erotica novel turns in to a great romance and a true happy every after, this series is brilliant!

I didn't enjoy the third book as much as the others. This type of book really isn't my thing in the first place (I only read it because it shows up on several of the "best romance" lists), so all the sex scenes really became just mind-numbing and boring for me. I think what really turned me off on this one, however, was at the beginning of the book when Anastasia wakes up with hickeys and whelps from handcuffs. That behavior was beyond controlling; it was just mean and was intended as punishment, which really didn't go over well with me. Anastasia accepted Christian's need to control as a former Dominant, but since she was never his sub and he never really treated her as such, this particular scene just really seemed out of character and out of place, especially on their honeymoon.
While I really enjoyed the ending and the fact that Christian and Anastasia finally became a family and found an equilibrium that worked for both of them, all of the fighting and controlling and making up with sex to get there was a bit much for me. It's sweet to think that someone could have that much of an impact on one person's life, especially someone with that much power and control in his life, but I expected a little more out of the final book in the trilogy. I also found the connection with Hyde a little too convenient (and weird).
All in all, I enjoyed the trilogy, which surprised me since I never planned to read it, but I wished for a little more from the final book. All the security because of the Hyde situation kind of overpowered the story. Take out all the sex (and controlling behavior and crazy boss) and it's really just another romance novel. That said, I still find myself wishing for a little more from these two characters just because they were such an unlikely pair that ended up being just what the other needed.
