This was a pretty solid book series. I thought the ending was perfect, and it all tied together well. Adelina is such an interesting character, and I love how she spirals into this revenge hungry antihero, but she doesn’t lose sight of her love for the people around her.

See, this is why I love anti-heroes/villain MCs. The redemption is always worth it.

I wish that this series would have delved into the gods/goddesses more throughout so that the ending would have had a bit more context. I feel like it was just a random addition that the Young Elites stole power from the gods that was necessary in order to end the series. A bit more worldbuilding would have made it a little more impactful. But I definitely got emotional!

The last folktale... I can't.

Otherwise, a really great series. Really glad I picked this one up on a whim. Marie Lou is an excellent author, and I'm very excited to read the Legend series!

I love the ending the most. It felt satisfying after journeying through the series. Adelina was great main character and to see her descent and redemption, perfection.
