Another fabulous book in the James Potter series, and in fact, the bext one yet! Mr. Lippert has told an amazing story, giving homage to the Harry Potter books we all love, but telling a different journey. Great job! I really hope there is another book!

Wow. Wow wow wow. I seriously came close to giving this book 5 stars, for the first time ever in this series. This book was AMAZING. I absolutely could not put it down. If you can stick it out through the first three, it's so worth it. All comes to fruition in this one, and it's fast paced and full of plots and twists and turns throughout its entirety. The character development is very good, and I've quickly fallen in love with the children of our beloved Harry Potter and friends. Dare I say it, I think Draco Freaking Malfoy's kid is my favorite. What?! All in all, absolutely spectacular. I am so deeply impressed, and I can't wait for the next one!

4.5 stars. This book was written with the same charm that sucked me into the first of the James Potter books. While there were definitely some parts of the story I could have dealt without, I truly enjoyed this installment of the series. It kept me enthralled for most of the entire story, and I loved the end scene with the mirror. It brought a tear to my eye! While I am a Harry Potter purist, Lippert makes it his own, and makes it something enjoyable. There are parts when I have to remind myself that it's not actually real! I'll be excited to see what comes next.

Honestly, I was getting bored with the book half way through, but it finally started to really pick up the pace in the final 30% or so.

I have just finished reading it and Wow!. If you liked the Harry Potter books, make sure you get started on the James Potter series. As in the HP series, the James Potter books have evolved and become more complex and darker. This is a large one and will have you trying to figure out how all the pieces fit together until the last few pages.
